WEBSITE

Founded in 1972 by Remo Nardone as an Italian specialist wine distributor, Enotria is now one of the UK’s leading premium wine and spirits distributors, with one of the most comprehensive and exclusive ranges in the market. Complete supply chain ownership and unrivalled UK wine-buying behaviour insights ensure seamless customer service, full control over the customer journey and an ability to deliver tailored solutions for our customers.

Acquired by Majestic Wine Group in April 2025, Enotria continues to operate as a standalone business, serving all drinks industry channels by leveraging its premium on-trade, off-trade and DTC market expertise to build long-standing relationships. Enotria’s 10,000-strong client base includes independent retailers, fine dining, specialist bars, hotels, travel operators and prestigious events venues.

Business

Enotria has committed to achieving net zero emissions in our own operations by 2030, and across our global supply chain by 2050. To reach those goals, we are investing in the technologies, partnerships and processes that make a measurable difference:

Sustainability pathways
Carbon footprint, Staff welfare & progression, Waste management & recycling, Packaging, NPD, Diversity & inclusivity, Community focused activities
ACTIONS AND GOALS

Enotria works in partnership with our producers to reduce their environmental impact and achieve certification against a recognised environmental management or sustainability standard.

We have measured our Scope 1 & 2 emissions and delivered on mitigation plans.

Enotria has invested in CarbonCloud, a climate intelligence platform that enables us to map and measure our end-to-end supply chain emissions. Using this tool we can identify emission hot spots, develop reduction strategies and publish individual product carbon footprints. This data can also be distilled into useful information that can be integrated into our customers’ wine and spirits lists to help them achieve their sustainability goals and give greater visibility to their guests.

We have developed a Packaging Charter that sets out commitments to help us remove non-recyclable and excess packaging from our business, specifically:

· Move to lightweight glass bottles and increase recycled content

· Use sustainable sourced paper & board

· Eliminate the use single use plastics

We are committed to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion within the hospitality industry, including sponsoring educational networking trips through organisations such as Be Inclusive Hospitality.
